| November 27, 2006 - CDS implemented the International Message Hub (IMHub), changing the way participants deliver or receive security positions over three of its existing international links: JASDEC, Euroclear France and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (SEB).
The IMHub manages the processing associated with international deliveries in a straight-through processing environment and will facilitate new links with other international depositories.
A new international delivery option, available through CDS systems will enable participants to initiate, approve and monitor their international delivery activity. As well, a new International Delivery Report will be available to participants who have subscribed to the JASDEC, Euroclear France and or SEB Link services. This end-of-day report will display international delivery details.
Participants will have greater control over their international delivery activity as the manual intervention previously required by CDS is largely eliminated. This, along with other attributes of the IMHub, will facilitate faster completion of international deliveries as well as reduce the fees passed through to participants from CDS's international partners.
The CDS International Services Participant Procedures have been created and will replace the JSSC link and Euroclear France link participant procedures. In addition, and the CDS Reporting Procedures, and the CDS Batch and Interactive Services – Technical Information documents have been updated.
For more information, CDS participants should refer to CDS Bulletin 2006-00098C, as well as, International Bulletins 2006- 00011I, 2006 – 00015I and 2006 – 00018I. |
