CDS provides a secure, efficient North American gateway between Canada and the U.S. to meet the increasing demand for cross-border clearing and settlement. CDS also has custodial relationships with other depositories facilitate the movement of securities between countries.

CDS Special Handling

CDS may offer CDS Participants and issuers custom services if a Participant or issuer requires CDS to process securities transactions in a manner that does not conform to documented functionality, procedure and agreements.
